At his recent constituency surgery in Torrington, Sir Geoffrey met with Mr Bloodworth, Headmaster of GTS, to address the ongoing disruption to Stagecoach school services and the recent hike in fares. Sir Geoffrey expressed deep concern over the impact on local families and assured Mr Bloodworth that he would raise the issue directly with the Managing Director of Stagecoach at their forthcoming meeting. He pledged to press for urgent amendments to safeguard these essential services, ensuring they remain accessible without placing an unfair financial strain on parents.
