Sir Geoffrey recently visited The Globe in Torrington to meet with the project team and receive an exciting update on the site's redevelopment. The team confirmed they had successfully reached their £230,000 crowdfunding target—an achievement that now unlocks a further £500,000 from the Levelling Up Partnership. This additional funding, secured through a scheme Sir Geoffrey championed under the previous Government, will enable the project to move forward with transforming The Globe into a vibrant community hub for Torrington and the surrounding area.
