On Boxing Day, Sir Geoffrey returned to Tavistock AFC’s ground, Langsford Park, in his role as Club President, to watch the Lambs play Portishead Town, to catch up with old friends and the plans and projects the Club is undertaking. Sadly, in front of a good crowd, Tavi lost 2:1 in a creditable performance in which they were never outclassed by the league number two team and never gave up.
