Your Post Office- at the heart of the community

Geoffrey Cox joined subpostmasters from across the constituency and the South West to protest against the Government’s apparent indifference to the fate of the village post office.

Mr Cox, who launched his post office campaign in April, spent the weekend in towns across the constituency with volunteers gathering signatures for the post office petition which he last night formally presented to the House of Commons.

The photos below show a copy of the 6,222 signature petition being delivered, along with thousands of paper hearts bearing messages of support from local residents, to the Prime Minister at Downing Street and (bottom) Geoffrey Cox presenting the petition to Parliament.
